1979 was a special year in the life of the travel industry in Canada. In January of that year, a travel company was born: Campbell Travel Limited, which was the precursor of Sunspots Holidays. After 36 years of service in the travel market of Ontario, our company decided to move into an entirely new concept in sales and act as a pure wholesale travel company. The evolved Sunspots Holidays is committed to improve the sale and distribution of travel products in Canada.

The key philosophy driving this enterprise was and remains the active marketing of special products, rather than offering solely discounted rates.

The creation of unique products, “Sun Magic” and “Positive Destination Ideas”, are branded, offering short stays in Europe, USA, Caribbean, Latin America and Canada, combined with consolidator airfares and land packages. This benefited the airlines as well as enabled the travel agents to increase their revenue during the off–season period. Consumers also benefit considerably, since now they are able to go to unimaginably beautiful places for imaginably reasonable prices. In a very short period, Campbell Travel Limited emerged into a more recognizable name, SUNSPOTS HOLIDAYS.

Sunspots Holidays creates a proactive product by offering land and air components, together as well as separately, and marketing them across Canada, the U.S.A. and the world in general.
